Why we are celebrating...

Why June 12 is always color red in our calendar? Why we don't have classes and all government offices are close during this day? It's simply because that day is a regular holiday of celebration of the Philippine Independence Day.

Philippine Independence Day is one of the biggest holiday in  our country. We always celebrate this event because it symbolizes our freedom. It also symbolizes that we Filipino's are brave because we overcome all the challenges and all the wars. And one of the reason why we are celebrating this holiday is to give respect and gratitude to all our ancestors who fought people/countries who colonized us.

Before and during June 12 a lot of Philippine flags are hanging on the streets and in front of our building and other offices. It shows for our love for our country. Why do we do that practice just only when Independence Day come? We should love our country whether it is Independence Day or not. We should also help our fellow Filipinos to protect our country in the way of doing something good for us to remain for being free.
