High School Day

Every year, schools celebrate the High School Day to commemorate the day when the school was founded or established.

Ilocos Sur National High School celebrated its 117th High School Day. It was celebrated in 2nd and 3rd day of March. One of the most awaited and the busiest occasion celebrated in school. There is a great deal of hurried activities, boundless excitement and anticipation that awaits the participants for the event. The students and teachers are also happy to participate the parade as the opening of the celebration. Even those who are not actively participating in the event are happy to have and perform the highlight of the called celebration, field demonstration with their colorful props and eye catching costumes. The school gets a major make-over where in and out of the classrooms are thoroughly cleaned up, bulletin boards are updated and well-decorated. The coronation ball is greatly awaited. Everybody is happy to watch and witnessed the royal coronation and their elegant dresses. And also everyone is happy for not having classes, just chilling with friends and classmates and enjoying funfilled day at school.

The High School Day brought so much happiness and sweet smiles in every student and teacher in their faces

An open letter for the President

                                                                                                                                    July 1,2018 Dear Mr. President, Greetings of peace and joy! I am Shania Gasmen, a Grade 10 student of Ilocos Sur National High School. I want you to know that I really admire your political will to change our country's problem for the better. You are doing the best that you can to find ways and means. You have a good heart with an arm fist. Just be tactful with your words especially on televised speeches because many young generation are watching and listening. May I request that you allot more funds to the Department of Education to supplement the needs of children, classroom building, increase the salaries of the teachers and for free college education. I am hoping that you may find time to read my simple message to you Mr. President. May the Lord give you good health and guidance to continue good purposes.
