Specifically, emphasizing that people living in poverty are disproportionately affected by many human rights violations.  We should learn how to respect and help each other to equally get rightsl that we deserve regardless to the status of life, gender or educational attainment. This theme urges us to work together to overcome poverty and ensure no one is left behind so we should work hand in hand to change the world for the better. You should start the change within yourself!

Wavefront: Accentuating Potentials, Activating Technological Advancement"

"Wavefront: Accentuating Potentials,  Activating Technological Advancement" is the national theme for science month 2018. This theme focuses on how can we use the science and technology to make our future better. The theme are also related to the science and technology and how it impacts the human life. The Pearl of the Orient is a homeland of gifted, intellectual and talented individuals, so we are not underdogs in terms of brilliance and ideas. So the theme persuading us to use our talents and knowledge for the advancement of technology. Technology has become so helpful to our lives in so many ways. Technology is convenient and efficient. It aids us to live life more conveniently by allowing us to do more in less effort. But we must be careful enough how and when we utilize them because anything unproperly used may lead to failure or destruction.

Why we are celebrating Teacher's Day? When did this started? In India, the Teacher's Day is celebrated on 5th September and this tradition started from 1962. This is the when Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was born. He was a philosopher, scholar, teacher, and politician and his dedicated work towards education made his birthday an important day in the history of India. We remember the great work of this exemplary person on this day. Actually, this man, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was a friendly teacher and he was popular among his students for the example he always set in front of them. So, one day his students and friends requested him to allow them to celebrate his birthday in a lavish way. In return he said that it would be his pride and honor if they celebrate his birthday in respect of all teachers. And since then this day 5th September is celebrated as Teacher's Day. Now, talking about the rest of the world, World Teacher's Day is celebrated on 5th October an
